How to get the most out of this goal setting workbook
Check out these top tips to make sure your goal setting process is really effective:
- Set goals regularly. Don’t make this a once a year exercise. Instead, aim for a major goal setting process every 6 months, with a review every 3 months.
- Create a vision board. Build yourself a visual reminder of what your goals mean to you by creating a vision board and review it regularly. If you want to know how to get started, check out how to create a vision board.
- Share your goals with significant others. Ensure people know how to support you with your most important goals by sharing what they are and why they are important to you. You don’t need to share them with everyone, just those closest to you who are also part of your journey.
- Get an accountability buddy. Have someone you trust to keep you on track and give you the feedback you need, whether that is encouragement, reinforcement or just a reminder to keep going.
- Grow into the person your goals need you to be. If you set some significant goals, you will need to grow to achieve them. Ask yourself what you need to learn to be better at, then work everyday to improve yourself by 1%.
